This was one of the most special weddings I’ve ever had the honor of shooting. Ethan is the son of my first cousin, Ginger; Ginger + I went through our engagements + weddings at almost the same time (weddings separated only by 5 weeks) + Ethan was always very special to my husband, Derrick, + I. So I was thrilled to get the pleasure to shoot his December wedding! His bride-to-be was as beautiful + charming + sweet as we could’ve hoped for, + it was easy to see why Ethan fell in love with this girl. Their wedding featured all of my favorite things as a photographer: totally smitten couple, a bride’s faux fur wrap, a First Look to melt stone, rich winter colored bouquet, killer bride’s shoes, sparklers, + lots + lots of smiles 🙂
Reception held at The Hall at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center
Rachel + her gorgeous mom, Mercedes, lightened things up a bit with some dancing 🙂
Derrick leading the blind-folded groom to the First Look
It doesn’t get any better than this, people.
Rachel + her immediate family.
Getting a little mom + dad love 🙂
Ethan’s ( + my!) family.
My beautiful cousin, Ginger, with her menfolk.
Now y’all see, I come by it honestly.
