I think I am a pretty patient person. But after 3 years of waiting for a bride who wants a TTD session, I decided to take matters into my own hands & create one myself. First – find a dress; with the help of a Facebook post, this was easily done. For $50 I had my dress. Now for the “bride”; I’d seen some photos of a girl I’d known when she was just in grade school & had been blown away by the ferocious beauty she’d become, so I messaged her with my idea & she was all in! So, back in June, we headed out to the waterfall I had in mind & I was virtually humming with excitement. Alas, the waterfall was crowded with families out to enjoy the gorgeous summer evening; so we jumped back in the car & headed out to another one. though there was a family there, this waterfall had 2 levels & we were able to make great use of the upper falls. This was one of those shoots were everything seemed to be almost too good – the light, the temperature, the gorgeous model…it was a good day to be a photographer 🙂 Not only did Rebecca have the look I wanted, but this girl knew exactly how to move her arms & hands & body with the natural grace of a dancer…did I mention it was a good day to be a photographer??? Here are my faves from the session.
