This girl is as spirited & alive as her electrically-red hair 🙂 When we set up her senior session, her mom told me that when I met them at the location we would then “take four-wheelers to the spot for the photos”. Say again? Lol. Honestly, it was so fun just getting there – I was raised on a dirt road in Georgia & spent my childhood running like a wild thing through woods & creeks, & hanging on to the back gear rack of Taylor’s four wheeler as she expertly drove through the cool afternoon forest, I felt the peace & rejuvenation that being in the woods always brings me. I’d shot her sister Kourtney’s senior session last year, & while the red hair & smile were similar, these are definitely two very different young ladies.
First things first – she loves her truck 🙂
This is one of my faves.
Her dad, Greg, gets the four wheeler situated for some shots.
Now this was bizarre – we’re out here in these woods & I see a truck stop at the top of the incline, & this guy gets out & calls out to Taylor’s dad & while they’re chatting I realize, I know this guy! so of course I yell out, “Hey, I know you!” & he grins & says, “I know you, too!” It was the husband of a couple whose wedding I’d shot a couple of years ago & his wife gets out of the truck & comes down, so I told them I had to document this crazy incidence!
Another fave of mine.
We went back to the farm where we’d left from, & took a few shots of Taylor in the pasture. Her cow that she’s raised, Gracie, came over to investigate.
